New Yoga and Nutrition Program

Geeohdy Consulting is excited to begin offering a Yoga and Nutrition program! This combined effort is focused on building strength, flexibility, losing fat, maintaining or building great posture, increasing energy and endurance, toning and building muscle, relaxing yet stimulating the mind, and providing you a holistic approach to your total well being.

  1. Yoga: Video, pictures and instructions for various poses and complete work-outs
  2. Nutrition: Shopping and menu items, receipies, supplements, tools, techniques; in pictures, articles, and video
  3. Lifestyle: Increase brain power and focus, relax your mind, work your eye muscles, release negative thoughts, release negative patterns and habits

 

Gorgeous Summer Skin!

Summer is the time we want to look and feel our best! Here are a few quick tips to get the most gorgeous summer skin ever:

  1. Eat low salt, lower carb foods: Salt bloats the body and contributes to water weight. Carbs turn to fat if you're not burning them quickly. They also contain a great deal of salt usually.
  2. Work out 30 minutes a day: It can be as easy as a few crunches, push-ups, lunges, stairs, or a fast walk.
  3. Tan slowly: a burn doesn't help your skin tan faster, it simply damages it. So take it slow and wear only all natural, chemical-free sun screen. The sun isn't your enemy, it's prolonged exposure or poor habits that are.
  4. Ensure optimal nutrition: feed the body so that you crave less fattening foods, have energy and stamina, and are continually cleansing your body.
  5. Cleanse the face without chemicals. Sun, salt water, chlorine can all be so drying. Be sure to use the very best when it comes to your cleanser.
  6. Exfoliate! Your skin sheds itself regularly. The dead layers can look especially dry in the summer due to the sun and air conditioning drying those layers quickly. Scruff them off with a natural and gentle exfoliator. Your skin will look smooth and glow with health!
  7. Don't forget to moisturize! Your skin can dehydrate from within and from the surface. Drinking fluids when outdoors or working out, and using a moisturizer daily will help slow the signs of aging. Some products even lessen the signs by reducing fine lines, wrinkles and patchiness. Stay away from chemicals or highly processed products. Your skin absorbs a lot!
